Today I've updated my router via update prompt in settings (to 1.1.0.64). After update I've got:
- always lit power
- blinking activity ethernet cables
- wifi, internet connections are off
Reset using "7 seconds" does not do anything. When I do 30-30-30 reset my internet and wifi icons blinke one after another (eg one on, one off). Does anyone know how to ubrick it?

Re: Netgear R6220 bricked after update?
Just in case when I load, reboot power button is always green and not blinking.
If I try TFPT it doesn't blink either so intead of it blinking I have wif-fi, internet connectivity blinking one after another
In any cause if I don't set params in adapter in windows manually I get "No network access" for IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity

This is a sign that there is not a problem with the firmware. Maybe not, then, "bricked".
Have you tried restarting the whole network, including the modem and the attached devices?
As you have already reset the router, you will have to set it up from scratch.
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
- Turn off and unplug the modem.
- Turn off the modem router and computers.
- Plug in the modem and turn it on. Wait 2 minutes.
- Turn on the modem router and wait 2 minutes.
- Turn on the computers.

Re: Netgear R6220 bricked after update?
Thank you Michael!
Unfortunaly actions you've suggested didn't help (I don't have modem so I just ejected ETH cable from my WAN port), power icon is not blinking after I turn power on (it's light all the time after second 1 when I plug power) and ETH icons are there straight away, but Wi-Fi and Internet are off. Looks like device is not initialised properly after boot sequence - because before updarte it was like that: power button was blinking for 10-15 seconds, ETH icons started blinking after 10-15 seconds and Wi-Fi, Internet stopped blinking after 10-30 seconds. Then internet was available via ETH and Wi-Fi
Right nowe doesn't assign any address to connected devices via ETH and Wi-Fi looks turned off (icon is off and hardware button to turn on and off Wi-Fi doesn't do anything).
If I try to reset router using 7s or 30-30-30 seconds nothing changes 😞 When I try to reflash it using TFTP my icons for Wi-Fi and Internet connection blink repeatively one after another in a loop (waited for 30 minutes to settle those).
Does anyone have any more ideas? Or it's better to go to store and buy new one? 🙂

Re: Netgear R6220 bricked after update?
From my internet provider - it provides thernet cable which I plug into my router. Internet is working if I plug it into my PC or Mac

Re: Netgear R6220 bricked after update?
In that case, you are on your own.
Apart from college dorms and some apartments, I can't recall seeing reports here of a direct delivery over ethernet, or what you call ETH.
In the past there has always been some sort of box between the internet and the router, either a modem or a box that connects to an optical link in the outside world.
With nothing out there, the usual troubleshooting approaches don't mean much.

Re: Netgear R6220 bricked after update?
Hmm, it's around 99% in CIS (Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan) of internet works like that 🙂 They usually have box on last floor which is connected via optic channel to provider and then each flat is getting internet via ethernet cable connected to computer/laptop or WAN port of router (IP can be received via DHCP or user needs to enter IP, gateway, DNS manually on computer or router) 🙂
If I assign static IP to my computer connected to my router all pins fail (Request timed out)

Re: Netgear R6220 bricked after update?
I'm 80% that no, these routers aren've very popular in CIS because they're quite expensive. Couldn't find any other places where I can get help. Surprisingly free support lasts only 90 days and their phone support is always busy 😞

Re: Netgear R6220 bricked after update?
You can use telnet to get into the router and do stuff, like flash the firmware.
When my R6220 would not accept login credentials after a firmware update I used someones exe file to flash it by telnet.
Unfortunatly I cant find the web page for it.
