Netgear R6250 is Not Working with Spectrum [Despite being Approved by Them]

I got the Netgear R6250 smart modem/router combo to use it with Spectrum Internet. Since I was able to find it in their approved list, I thought that I wouldn't have to perform many steps to get it working. However, after attempting a lot, I've failed to set it up. I tried contacting Spectrum support, but they say that the modem wasn't provided by them so they can't help me (I know they're wrong!)
I've installed all the cables properly (checked them multiple times) and I've also had to reset the device multiple times. I'm not using a separate router (as this one is a combo). Is there something I should be doing it? The internet light isn't just lighting up!
Please help!

SPECTRUM probably has to provision or re-provision your modem. Did you schedule a tech to come over there and look?

The R6250 is a router, not a "modem/router combo". What do you
really have?
> I've installed all the cables properly [...]
All _which_ cables? What, exactly, did you connect to what, exactly?
Given your model number, your blanket assurance that you did
everything right might be less persuasive than you might think.
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your (actual) model number,
and look for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read.
Look for the LED descriptions and "Troubleshoot".

Re: Netgear R6250 is Not Working with Spectrum [Despite being Approved by Them]
Yes, I did and I got a different Netgear N600 (Based on Matthew's recommendations at https://approvedmodems.org/spectrum/)
The installation was quick, not only that, I didn't have to do much to get it working, just followed a few steps listed on the official Spectrum website (https://www.spectrum.net/support/internet/self-install-spectrum-internet-service/) and it's working pretty smooth!
Thanks for the response mate!

Re: Netgear R6250 is Not Working with Spectrum [Despite being Approved by Them]
I think I was fooled by a local vendor, I was given a box of the Netgear R6250 and the device did resemble to it, but on talking with a support representative I was told that it was not a R6250 as the device isn't actually a combo. I did a lot of research and found it on the internet too that the R6250 isn't a combo.
I later realized that I was scammed and asked the eCommerce guy to take the return, they still haven't responded yet. I assume they did it on purpose, but luckily, I got the Netgear N600 as recommended by Matthew (Founder at Approved Modems) (He helped my neighbor pick a good modem and helped me with it too)
Thanks for the response, I really appreciate it. The internet is working blazing fast, I got N600 is working really smooth with Spectrum.
