I am using an Orbi Lbr20 with firmware version 2.6.5.2. I am trying to configure my router to use a specific DNS server that is not automatically provided by my ISP. In the admin interface the "Use these DNS servers" option is set, but the router uses the provider's DNS when checking the connection status. You may have done that already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear gave up on supplying paper manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
In this case we are talking about a specialist router, the LTE WiFi Orbi Router. That probably doesn't have much to do with this bit of the community. General WiFi Routers (Non-Nighthawk & Non-Orbi)

Well. This will try to explain it again. I have an Orbi lbr20 router which acts as an LTE router. I want computers on the local network to use the DNS server I set, not the ISP DNS server. Unfortunately, I do not have a fixed public IP address and after setting a different DNS IP address, computers on the network use the ISP DNS server. I tried restarting it and it's still the same. I have the latest version of modem and router firmware version 2.6.5.2 on my router.
