Orbi rbr850 pulsing white continuously, maybe because a satellite is disconnected?
My main Orbi rbr850 is working fine, but the ring light is pulsing white continuously. The only odd thing about my setup is that I powered down one of the Satellites yesterday (in order to do some dead-spot troubleshooting for an iphone) and the Satellite is still powered off and its status in the Attached Devices page is disconnected.
--> Is it possible that the pulsing white ring on the main Orbi is due to the disconnected Satellite?
(I find the documentation for Orbi ring light colors unclear, so I thought I'd ask.)

After about 3 days the Orbi rbr850 Router stopped pulsing on it's own. The Satellite that is powered on and connected has a ring light that is off, and the 2nd Satellite remains unpowered. (Maybe the main router decided to give up on syncing with the unplugged satellite?)
Now the Orbi rbr850 Router ring light has been on solid white for about a week. I've rebooted it from the advanced menu, and unplugged it, but after the reboot cycle (pulsing white) it then stays solid white. The router is working normally, running FW V3.2.16.22_1.4.9 and gives no indication of any issues or errors (the log is filled with DHCP requests and nothing else).
This page https://kb.netgear.com/31030/What-do-the-LEDs-on-my-Orbi-router-and-satellite-mean, which includes the rbr850 in its list of applicable routers, says "Solid white. Your Orbi router is powering up.", but clearly it is fully powered up and operating.
Is the solid white ring light normal?

The ring light on my Orbi rbr850 Router (with no satellites) stayed on solid white for 2 more weeks, through multiple reboots. The router continued working normally, running FW V3.2.16.22_1.4.9, giving no indication of any issues or errors (the log is filled with DHCP requests and nothing else). The only problem I saw was that UPnP service was failing every third day following a reboot.
I performed a factory reset and reinstalled. The ring light has been off for a couple days. We'll see whether the UPnP service runs normally now.
