Opendns settings not working.
My n300 wireless router wnr2000 v3 is not blocking sites according to the opendns settings anymore. It was working for quite sometime then recently it stopped working. It set to anytime so its not a time issue. Anyone have any suggestions?

I wasable to come up with a solution. Thank you for your help. The only solution that I was able to come up with was to use Netgear genie app. Instead of using OpenDNS Netgear. I setup Genie to have parental control. Linkedin the OpenDNS account. Set the filtering. Enabled the filter using Genie. And bingo. it works.

Re: Parental Controls not working properly
Hello @Netmound What's the DNS address you're getting? You can check this by accessing the admin page of the router then under WAN Setup.
Did you try to disable then re-enable parental control?
How about starting from the scratch?

Get Automatically from ISP
Yes i tried to disable and re-enable parental control to no effect.
I pushed the red restore factory reset button to no effect.
Any other suggestions?

Well, I even tried this changing the DNS. This doesnt work nothing is blocked. I do not understand it worked a month ago then after I factory reset to update the email the filter no longer worked.

Re: Parental Controls not working properly
@Netmound Try another factory reset. Use the 30-30-30 reset this time and then see if that will work.
1. With the unit powered on, press and hold the reset button on the back of unit for 30seconds.
2. Without releasing the reset button, unplug the unit and hold reset for another 30 seconds.
3. Power on the unit while STILL pushing the reset button and count for another 30 seconds before letting it go.
After the reset, reconfigure the router. By the way, how do you configure the LPC, are you using Genie or through the OpenDNS website directly?
