Re: R6200v2 changing channels on 5GHZ
I change the channels and it changed the 5G signal for my FireStick from -72 to -61, I did not find any channel where I could get -40 dBm.
These are the results when I ran WIFI Analytcs.
Can you tell me why the Netgear 30-5G signal is -46, but the Firestick is -61, the Firestick is 8 ft. from the router?
SSID SIGNAL(dBm CHANNEL SECURITY BSSID
NETGEAR 30 -30 5 WPA2SK 6c:b0:ce:ab:73:bb
NETGEAR 30-5G -46 157 " 6c:b0:ce:ab:73:ba"
DIRECT-e1-FireTV_c463 -61 157 " 76:c2:46:8c:b0:12

Re: R6200v2 changing channels on 5GHZ
With the router TX power is constant, recweiving devices RX sensitivity, distnce and antenna(external, internai) matters.

Hello,
It sounds like I need to address my question to Firestick customer service, is that correct?
Thank you, ward74
