Registered User log in problems
I’m trying to connect my external hard drive that I’ve used for previous Time Machine backups into a USB port on the back of my N600 in order to have my MacBook Pro periodically back up via Time Machine without having to plug it directly into the MacBook. I’m following the steps listed here:
https://kb.netgear.com/21360/How-do-I-set-up-Time-Machine-backups-to-the-USB-drive-on-my-NETGEAR-rou...
but when I get to step 5, select Registered User, enter ‘admin’ as the username and ‘password’ as the password and click Connect it says the password and or username is incorrect. I’ve never changed it, so I’m not sure why it isn’t working. Any suggestions?

Re: Registered User log in problems
So you're able to log into the router using the default info?

What is this N600.
N600 is not a reliable guide to model number. Many devices come with that tag, but it is essentially a label that Netgear, and other brands, attach to hardware to describe wifi speeds.
Look at the label on the device for the model number.
N600 is, by the way, an ancient wifi standard. A router that old may not support some recent USB devices.
