VirgimMedia SH3 Access
Hello All
I have my virgin media SH3 setup in modem mode, and the Orbi RBR350 connected acting as the router.
I can access the Orbi router to change / look at settings, my question is how can I access the SH3 settings, I want to look at the logs and check a few things.
I cannot see an IP address listed in the Orbis attached devices for this.
Any help please

Ok. I might ask how, exactly, you did that.

Ask Virgin?

First, it's on the wrong side of the router to appear in the router's
Attached Devices report.
A modem (only, bridge mode) does not need an IP address. It's not
immediately obvious that what you want is possible. Hence: Ask Virgin?
A DOCSIS cable-TV modem should respond at "192.168.100.1"; what your
"SH3" might offer along those lines is unknown to me. Virgin, or other
Virgin SH3 users, might know more.

Re: VirgimMedia SH3 Access
Thanks for the reply, I was kind of expecting that it was just a bridge being in modem mode.
When the orbi was first connected the SH3 was in default mode as router so I connected to it in the normal way, and made it modem only, so that the Orbi was the router.
It works fine but I have had the modem reboot today and I wondered what if any the logs said on the SH3, but I cannot access it so, might as you suggest ask Virgin.
I could try connecting my laptop with ethernet directly to the SH3 and see what goes, but possibly Virgin first.
Thanks for the quick reply
