WNDR3700 Base Router (No Version # On Unit)-Random Internet Connection Drops
The current firmware version installed is V1.0.7.98NA. My internet connection randomly drops 2 - 3 times a day. My ISP is TDS. I have an Arris SB6141 cable modem. If I exclude the router and connect my PC directly to the modem the internet connection does not drop. I tested it in this configuration for a week. I am running Windows 10 on Labtop/PC and Andorid smart devices.
If I power cycle the router (without recycling the power to the modem) the internet connection stays up for a period of time but the random drops start again. I have reset the router numerous times and and verified the router configuration good each time.
The ISP (TDS) found noise on the lines, They came out 3 times.
Service Call #1: Replaced all the connections from the junction box out side near the street and at the connection box where they enter my house.
Service Call #2: Replaced connectors at the junction box in my home.
Service Call #3: Replaced the coax cable/connectors where the router resides in one of my bedrooms.
My house is only 1600 square feet. I have lived in my current home since June of 2006.This problem started happening around March 2020. Up until then everything was pretty stable. Any guidance/suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you tried re-installing the firmware to the router? Try re-installing the firmware, then do a factory reset and clean install (by clean, just don't use a backup configuration).
If that doesn't help, I'd actually look at updating the router. it was made in 2009.

Re: WNDR3700 Base Router (No Version # On Unit)-Random Internet Connection Drops
There is no firmware available on the Netgear support web page for the base WNDR3750 router.. Is it okay to use the one for WNDR3700-V1 since it is the same version as the firmware currently installed?

I don't see a wndr3750 at all.
What actual wndr do you have and what version is it?
You don't want to use a firmware that isn't matching for it as it could have different hardware between versions.

as long as there's nothing after the model number it should be a v1.
try reinstalling that firmware to it .
