netgear usb wifi adapter

trying to install the disc and settings.it keeps freezing on the part when it says detecting

Think the driver on the disc may be older version. Down load newest one and install that.

Don't plug in the adapter until install. finishes. Then power of computer, plug the adapter

in, then power up.

I dont have a clue how to do that. Its stuck on 'Detecting adapter' followed instructions it gave me. Been over an hour now

Then let's try again. What is your OS? Have you used it B4? Don't plug in the adapter. When you get that message plug the adapter in.

Never used it. Ive put disc into my laptop so im on windows

What version windows? The driver on the disc could be not compatible with your Windows version. Any mention of what Windows

version the driver is compatible?  No friend who could help you?
