After update, no login possible

Device: ReadyNas 102

I logged on to the webinterface this afternoon and got a message that there was an update.
SO i update. It was all nice and automatic. I just had to wait and it would be back after an automated reboot.

but it didnt.

So i searched with Raidar and it had gotten a new IP.
No problem.
I tried tro access the webinterface, but the UID/password field was empty.
It had forgotten my saved uid/password.

great.

So i tried everything but i couldnt log in.
Tired all my usual combinations which i am SURE 1 of them should work.. but nothing.
So i tried the recovery thing.
But instead of a recovery question, it was blank.
So i cant recover my password it seems.

Now what???
Can i just reset the thing to default settings?, or will that whipe the drives??

An OS Re-install would reset the admin password, but leave data intact.

Funny though. i just found my password (chrome is not that picky about showing you your passwords if you know where to look) and the password i had just doesnt work anymore.
Also the default password doesnt work (admin/password).

So jeej update...
