Archiving Old Files on Ready NAS 214
I work on a small film production team and we initially got our ReadyNAS to store footage and project files, but as our team expands, our file needs have grown, and we're looking to archive old fotage and projects. Is there a way to contain folders on a single volume for removal?

A NAS is not designed for that type of use. You are better off using a USB drive (or a duplicate pair to be absolutly sure you have a good backup) to archive your files. Old IT saying: "If you only have one copy of something, you must not think it's important." Another option is an online service.
