Boot problem Readynas Ultra 2 doesn't boot anymore

I own a Readynas Ultra 2 with two mirrored Hitachi 2TB drives.
The device automatically turns off in the evening and turns on in the morning.
Suddenly yesterday the device did not start anymore. The blue power light is on, fan is at high speed, two short pulses of the activity LED, but no disk activity at all. Nothing happens. If I press the powerbutton the device immediately shuts off. RAIDar can not find the device.
I have tried booting up with just 1 disk in the Readynas but no success with any of the two disks.

All my data is on it. Please advice what to do.

Not yet, I was hoping to get some tips from the experts on the forum.
Wondering if I dare to do a OS Reinstall with just one of the two drives inserted.
