Booting failure
when the NV+ was turned on and booting, the powercord was pulled.
If I now start it up it shows led 1 and 3 and the Fan blows like crazy.
and the displays light is out and shows blocks.
when i reset, the leds blink at 5sec, 20, and 30 i think and than leds 2 and 4 come on.
I tried a USB recovery but the usb blinks 1 time and does nothing.
And the TFTP boot recovery didn't work either.
The computer gets a IP adress but i can't reach it.
I am out of ideas.
Hope someone has any other ideas.
Thx

Re: Booting failure
Well when did your work purchase it?
For an issue like this you should contact support. The warranty isn't transferrable, I believe.

Does the boot menu work?: http://www.readynas.com/kb/faq/boot/how_do_i_use_the_boot_menu
i.e. if you press and hold the power button do you see different options appear on the LCD every 5 seconds?

Re: Booting failure
No the boot menu doesn't work.
If I press and hold down the power button the leds 1 and 3 turn on immediately.
The LCD stays dark, but it shows a string of blocks if you look close.
And when i reset, the leds blink at 5sec, 20, and 30 i think and than leds 2 and 4 come on.

Re: Booting failure
Have you checked to make sure that the memory is properly seated?
