Can see PIX folder from 1 computer but not from another.
I am new to the forum. I have a NAS312 with twin 2 tB drives. I loaded my picture files onto it from one PC on the network All the pictures are off a folder called PIX. I put them into the Picture folder on the NAS. I can see them from the computer that I loaded them from but I cannot see the PIX folder from the other PC on the network. I can see all the other folders that I put on the NAS from the 2nd computer. Using the first computer I copied NAS\\Pictures\Pix\* into the Documents folder. I can't see that one either from the 2nd PC. I tried renaming PIX but that didn't help. Its weird. I can see all my folders on the backup folder from both PCs. Any thoughts?

How did you set the file permissions for the Pictures share?
Did you try resetting them?

Re: Can see PIX folder from 1 computer but not from another.
Thanks. I did discover that the hidden file attribute is set in most of the folders. I am not sure how that happened. I turned them off and now some of the folders are visible but not all. I can see all of the folders and files when accessed through the browser. Its just windows explorer from this one PC that is acting strange. It displays folders until it encounters a ZIP file and stops there.
