Cannot access boot menu on ReadyNAS Ultra 6

Hi Guys, I hope someone can help me with my non booring Ultra 6.

Display just shows ReadyNAS, doesnt boot, connected a VGA adapter internally to see what's wrong.

Bios shows no errors

Cant get into the recovery menu

USB Recovery doesnt work either (tried 10 different USB sticks)

Bios just shows: LOAD ERROR after a while

Been reading thru the forums for a while but havent found a solution yet.

Dont know if booting with a Linux distro is an option and use the DD command to write to the internal disk?

Thanks in advance

Re: Cannot access boot menu on ReadyNAS Ultra 6

Is this a Pro 6 or an Ultra 6? You have referred to two different models (one in the thread title and another in the body of the first post)

So what do you see when booting normally and when trying to boot off USB? Can you post a photo or email it to me (see the Sending Logs link in my sig)?

Re: Cannot access boot menu on ReadyNAS Ultra 6

Sorry my mistake, its a Ultra 6.

I will post a photo when I arrive home tonight.

USB stick boots up normally, after the first 2 "linux" messages you will see it blink a few times and then the NAS shuts down.

No change however

Re: Cannot access boot menu on ReadyNAS Ultra 6

Looks like your installed disk is bad and there could be a problem with the internal flash.
