ESXi connectivity problems
Hi,
I am experiencing a weird problem with RN4220S (10Gbps SFP connection through XSM7224 switch) - sometimes the device becomes inaccessible from VMWare (no NFS connectivity - virtual machines are killed) and web management interface states that the device is offline.
The device does not recover itself - lat time I had to reboot it manually. Netgear tech support refused to help because set up warranty is ended already. However, the problem persists (and is critical enough not to put the device into production).
If someone has faced the same (or has the solution) - please let me know.

Re: ESXi connectivity problems
Hi Cyrill. What I would recommend is updating to 6.2 (due for release soon), doing a factory default (wipes all data, settings, everything) and setting up shares with bit-rot protection and snapshots both disabled and testing again. We have a beta available for non-production use if you would like to give 6.2.0 a try right now: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=154&t=77765 If you like send me your logs: http://readynas.com/kb/faq/misc/how_do_i_send_all_logs
