Expanding from 1 disk to 3.
Hi, I have a NV+ v2 running nicely with a 3TB disk installed. I have now purchased another two 3TB disks and want some advice on installing them.
Should I put both new disks in at the same time or individually? (I was going to power off the machine to install the disks then boot)
Will this decision effect the time it will take for the disks to synchronise?
Does the amount of data on the currently installed disk effect the time it takes to synchronise?
Thanks in advance for any responses....

One at a time.

No need to do that. You should hot-add (add while NAS is on) the disks.

It will have to add the disks to the array one at a time either way.

The disks have to be synced sector by sector. This is at a lower level than your volume itself. So the amount of data on the NAS doesn't matter much.
