Folders inside network share not visible via Readycloud (only from internal network)
Hi
I noticed something strange when logging in to my ReadyNAS via the ReadyCLOUD from our internal network.
We have a family-pictures share we share with with 1 of the cloud users.
If we log in to ReadyCloud (from our home network) with the gmail address (of the cloud user) for the family-pictures share then we can only see the share but not the folders inside the share (it's a white background).
I logged in to ReadyCLOUD (in our home network) with 3 different laptops and 1 PC with different browsers, I can only see the folders inside the share when logging in from our desktop PC (not from the 3 laptops). I tried wirelessly and with an ethernet cable but it does not change, it only works on 1 of the 4 devices in the same LAN network.
The share is always visible but not the folders inside of the share. The background is white or empty but if I drag and drop a file into the browser, the file is added to the share (I can see it if I browse my NAS locally) but it's still not visible on the device that uploaded the file.
The only way to see the folders (inside the pictures share) on the 3 laptops in our home is to connect via a mobile hotspot or connect to an external network, then the folders are visibile in ReadyCLOUD.
My first impression was that something inside my network (firewall) is preventing the folders to be visible but I don't understand why our desktop PC (which is in the same LAN) does not have this issue.

Re: Folders inside network share not visible via Readycloud (only from internal network)
Have you tried toggling the ReadyCloud service on your NAS? or rebooting your NAS? You may also want to check the Network settings on your ReadyNAS and add DNS Servers like google and your Router address before trying to access it using the hostname.
HTH

Re: Folders inside network share not visible via Readycloud (only from internal network)
Hi Marc_V
I tried all your suggestions (including the dns settings) before my initial post here but none of them solved the problem.
The folders of our pictures share were suddenly visible again in ReadyCLOUD (after I disabled 2 firewall rules in pfsense).
I re-enabled my firewall rules and logging in again to ReadyCLOUD (with the same device, my work laptop), I was expecting a white background again but the folders were still visible. So every time I login to ReadyCloud with my laptop from work all folders are visible. (regardless of what firewall rules are enabled or disabled).
I then did the same tests with our ultrabook, the folders in our pictures share were visible the first time I logged in but since then they are not visible. Modifying my firewall rules does not change anything.
I don't understand why I don't see the same results on different laptops in our network, the laptops connect to the same wifi.
I also restored the full backup config (of pfsense) from last week to be sure the firewall rules/settings are back to my default settings but it didn't change anything.
So at this moment after playing around with some firewall rules the problem is solved on 1 PC + 1 laptop but there still is 1 ultrabook which has the issue.
