How to delete useless old home directories ?

I have a few old directories within the home folder which were set up for former users which do not exist anymore.

Tried to delete these four folders but it doe not work.

What could I do to delete these old directories?

I use a 516 with firware 6.7.0

Currently that would have to be done from the backend.

My concern with providing the commands to do so is that too often users make mistakes and end up deleting data they didn't want to.

Frankly, I understand your concern. Only for clarification, the directories are empty. If using SSH is the only way to delete these old directories and there is risk to have a not intendet damage of other data I will leave it at it is.

If the commands are entered correctly there shouldn't be a problem, but if you enter the wrong thing e.g. enter a * in the wrong place you could do a lot of damage.
