How to format new disc?

I have bought ReadyNAS Ultra diskless and 2 1 TB unformatted discs. I have installed Raidar on my computer.
How should I get started from here? Can not find in documentation how to format the discs.
Simple question?

Perform factory reset. Please follow the steps from the link below:

Unfortunately that link does not answer the basic question of how to get started. Also, the documentation's reference to formatting the disks is a little misleading as the NAS will do this for you.

So while powered off, simply install both disks into the NAS and power on. Then follow the documentation eg http://readynas.com/start

If you do hit a problem, it may help to factory default the NAS as described in the FAQ which will force the unit to completely reconfigure itself from scratch. But again, you need the disks installed first as the NAS will do nothing otherwise
