Installed Disk 3 + 4... don't know what to do to make them work.

Hi,

I had two 4TB disk (RAID 1) in my RN42600. I now added two 2TB disk to get more storage. Disk are found, I formated them, but I don't know how to add them. Selecting one and clicking expand does nothing but hide the buttons. I don't really care if the added disks are used as RAID 5 with the existing ones or create a different volume.

They have to be in a different volume - they'd have to be 4 TB or larger to be used with your existing array.

Turn X-RAID off, by clicking on the X-RAID control on your screen shot.

Then you can create a new volume (for instance RAID-1).  Select the two new disks, and you should see an option to do that.
