Migration Assistant Can't find TM Backup. Is it hidden?
- iMac was backing up to a ReadyNAS with TimeMachine.
- iMac HDD died.
- Want to migrate TimeMachine backup to a brand new MacBook Pro.
OSX Migration Assitant found the NAS on network but says there's no TimeMachine Backup.
I'm 100% certain TimeMachine was working at one point. If I access the NAS in Finder at afp://192.168.xxx.xxx I can see and mount all volumes but I do not see anything pertaining to TimeMachine. Is the TimeMachine backup hidden and how can I find it? I want to at least verify that I'm not crazy and the NAS was indeed being used for backup. Would the Migration Assistant indicate there is no TimeMachine Backup found if it was a backup for a different type of machine?

This thread helped me out http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=71&t=71255
Turn off Time Machine in ReadyNAS. Turn it back on and change password.
