So ive setup my ready nasnv+ and setup folders and stream video to my Samsung TV Great.
Question ive run into a problem How do i improve streaming of large files with 1080p images? What would be the best settings? Should i convert files to 720p to help streaming.
I run a neatgear dual band router upto 300mbs so i cannot see why id have slow and disruptive streaming.
Also on file note permissions how do they work? I have a HP notepad that creates files on the NV+ with no problem bit when i go to view them on the Samsung tv the folder and files are not there. Ive tried changing permissions but they revert back to the same settings. Is this a router thing a windows thing or is this a Ready Nas thing>>?
If someone can help solve this issues or aleast give me some ideas that would be great.
Other notes are the router is via wifi and the distance is no more than 4 metres Samsung tv uses a dongle and has good network conection via wifi
