Hello. I have an NV+ v1 which is freezing up. Thought it was the RAM but even with putting new RAM in it still freezes up. I would like to get a 524x and just move the drives over but want to make sure I can keep my data. I have a USB backup drive which is up to date. Can I just move my drives over to the 524x and restore my files from the NV+ USB backup drive?

You can reuse the drives, but the RN524x will reformat them. So all data on them will be lost. After you recreate the shares you want, you can restore the files from the backup.
