Newbie question on ReadyNas Duo - access permissions

Ok, so that is back to the point of it not letting me in for some reason. Unless, like I said, I am completely thinking this wrong. The admin password is set when I set the NAS up, right? The one that gets me access to the "admin page"? If that is the case, I keep getting denied when running the net use command.

Yes, the admin credentials are the ones that give you access to the admin web ui.

Are you doing a "net use * /delete" first? Then "net use x:\ \\nasipaddress\data /user:admin", where "x" is the drive letter you want to map to.

Yes, I used the delete command and that is when I was able to connect to the music folder using the other command. I am starting to think that maybe I am not using the admin account. If I wasn't, would I still be able to connect to the music folder using the net use command? I just don't know why I can't connect to the root.

ok, FINALLY, got the command completed successfully but when I try to move the .bundle file in to the t:\.apps\plexmediaserver\medialibrary folder, it tells me access denied...I am thinking I have to change attributes on the folder?

I do see now that I have to drill down farther into the Plex folder as well....

Finally got it!! I was mapping wrong after I got the net use commands fixed. Thanks everyone for the help!!! I know newbies can be a pain!! 🙂
