Power Failure Replacement
I have a ReadNas NV+ which experienced a power failure over the weekend. Called Netgear and got an RMA for the new powerpack. In the meantime, I ordered a NEW 'no disk' ReadyNas. When that comes in, is it as easy as dropping the 4 disks into it and it be up and running (with a few tweaks to the network settings and such), or is there more I will have to do?
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

Re: Power Failure Replacement
Just make sure that you remeber the original bay for each drive when you plug them into the new chassis. There should be no problem as long as you use same exact model of the chassis.

Re: Power Failure Replacement
Yes. I received the new unit yesterday and just plugged in the four hard drives in the correct order. Came up within 5 minutes or so and was like I never did the replacement. Quick, easy and no problems. Thanks for the reply!!
