Dumb question time.
NAS initially set up with me as only user--so simply utilized "admin" name--without adding an "account"..
Now adding two other users----is it necessary and/or useful to now also create a user name for me the administrator?

You can continue to use the admin account - I see no benefit in creating a new user account for yourself.
