ReadyNAS Replicate not starting jobs
ReadyNAS Replicate was working fine until I did a factory default on the ReadyNAS Ultra 6. (I needed to reconfigure the number of drives for this unit)
I am able to see it configured in Replicate Network and I am able to set jobs but the jobs will not start. I have tried to manually start the jobs as well.
NAS Product 1: ReadyNAS Ultra 6
RAIDiator Version: RAIDiator-x86 Version: 4.2.26
RAID Configuration: RAID Level X-RAID2
Hard Disk Brand, Model, Capacity & Number: Seagate ST3000DM001S 3TB x 3
NAS Product 2: ReadyNAS 316
RAIDiator Version: RAIDiator-x86 Version: 6.1.8
RAID Configuration: RAID Level X-RAID2
Hard Disk Brand, Model, Capacity & Number: Seagate ST3000DM001 3TB x 4

Replicate not starting jobs
Nebrican,
Let me think. On the x86, are you using the latest Replicate add-on?
On Replicate portal, I presume it sees both NAS in black as normal.
Can you try a single small job, with snapshot off. Be mindful that Replicate works on increments.
But if job has not ran for a few weeks, the difference could be large between both.
It definitely will not start if difference > snapshot size.
Thanks, Marto

Re: ReadyNAS Replicate not starting jobs
I am running version 1.2.0 of Replicate. I have a test job of 10 files that will not run. Both NAS are black in portal.

Re: ReadyNAS Replicate not starting jobs
Nebrican,
Can you open a support ticket through email.
http://support.netgear.com/general/contact/default.aspx
Can you attach logs of both NAS's to the ticket, and Replicate error logs.
Support will probably want the x86 in Tech support mode later, and may ask for your Replicate username/ password
at a later point also.
Regards, Marto

Replicate not starting after Factory default
Nebricam,
I found this comment in internal case notes.
"Each time the unit was factory defaulted, the hostname was changed before ReadyNAS Remote was started.
So leafp2p created a different username since the user selected a different hostname every time."
So, can you arrange the hostname as before Fact def?

Re: ReadyNAS Replicate not starting jobs
After removing the device out of Replicate and adding it back in it works fine now.
