ReadyNAS Ultra 4 not listening on 443 or 80 (or SSH)
Hi All,
My Ultra 4 running R4.2.27 suddenly stopped listening on all ports except 139 and 445 (Samba) - according to a port scanner.
So I cannot login or configure anything from Frontview. Shares still work, and ~5TB of data is ok - but rebooting the NAS and also reloading the O/S firmware from the Bootmenu doesn't fix the problem.. 😞
SSH is not enabled on this one unfortunately, so no go there.
I would prefer some sort of fix that doesn't involve copy data off/factory reset if possible? Anyone have any magic fix ideas?
It looks similar to this person's problem with his RN104 which looks like it was fixed without a solution posted:

Any pointers?
Thanks,
S2k

Re: ReadyNAS Ultra 4 not listening on 443 or 80 (or SSH)
Your issue is not the same as the RN104 problem. That was a bug in OS 6.2.2 firmware (uninstalling an app after the upgrade triggers that problem).
I would certainly start copying off data, just in case (perhaps starting with the most critical). Also try RAIDar, and see what status it gives.
Although it isn't free, perhaps a one-time support request might be worth it.
