ReadyNas 204 ERR: No disks detected after Firmware Upgrade

Since i did a FW upgrade last week. The device doesn't boot anymore.  ERR: No disks detected.

I tried factory reset and OS reinstall. Nothing helped. The disks don't even start spinning.

Did anyone experience this before? Do you have any suggestions?

You can't do a factory reset (or an OS reinstall) if there are no disks detected.  Both copy things to the disks.

Best to contact Netgear support.  This sounds more like a hardware failure to me (despite the timing). The warranty is 3 years for the original purchaser.
