ReadyNas Duov2 recommended setup? WD Red 3TB
Hi,
I am about to replace a dead WD Red3TB disc that was in my NAS under XRAID2 configuration.
However, now I want to use the two 3TB discs to give me 6TB of space (with backup to External USB)
What is the optimum configuration to use for the WD Red 3TB discs?
Cluster size etc......spinup, power saving etc
Thanks,
Jonny

Jonny,
I don't think you can specify disk settings eg Cluster size, spinup, from GUI.
Normally, a Duo on X-RAID would have 2 disks mirroring. 6Tera means Factory resetting, wiping data, and picking
RAID 0. We advise against it. Also, you will not get the full 6 Tera, as you lose space for Operating system.
