Readynas ethernet leds always off

ReadyNas ethernet leds will no longer light up.
I tried to replace the network cable, attach readynas to another switch, restart it several times, remove hard-disks insert a new one and do the factory reset procedure but nothing seems to work.
ReadyNas boot normally and frontal leds doesn't show any particular pattern. When I plug the power supply ethernet leds seem to make a small flash for a few milliseconds and then stop working. 

Raidar utility can't detect ReadyNas presence on the network even if I connect it with a cross cable to my laptop.
Does anyone know if there are other tests that I can do? Any help would be appreciated (even voodoo rituals) ... Thank you!

BTW you don't need a crossover cable, the NAS NIC autosense and adjusts.

I think you have a failed NIC.  What's your warranty status (warranty is 3 years from purchase for the original purchaser).

This is good news! I bought this readynas in October 2013 and probably I can still take advantage of the warranty. Thank you 🙂
