Readynas ultra 4 powers on, then shuts down immediately
Hello.
I have a readynas ultra 4. Its been working fine for 3 years. But suddenly It got this startup problem.
When i start It up, It boots up fine the first time. It can stay booted up for a coupple of minutes, then it shuts down instantly. No shutdown procedure, it just goes dark. Then it powers on by itself and shuts down during the boot. And so it goes on until i power it off.
Anyone got Anny ideas what this can be? And how i can fix it? Is this a defect psu?

Could have encountered the endless reboot bug on old firmware. What firmware are you running?

Re: Readynas ultra 4 powers on, then shuts down immediately
Hello again.
Sorry for my late response.
I cant remember what firmware i'm running. It "crashed" a while back, and I have not tried to fix it until now.
I can try to dig up what firmware i last installed. But can i do a factory reset ore something to go back to scratch?

Is your data backed up? A factory default will wipe all your data so if your data isn't backed up that's not a good solution.
