Recover disc space

Hi

Have a readynas 31400 with 2 x 1tb mirrored drives in it.

Loads of data has been removed, however the free space reported has not increased, how do I recover it, baring a reformat and restore???

All help appreciated.

Do you have snapshots enabled? You'll probably need to delete those as well.
Also, try rebooting the NAS and "Perform volume scan on next boot".
