Rsync Backups from RN516 to RNDP6350 Suddenly Fails
I've been successfully backing up folders (Documents, Movies, Music, Photos) for the last 3 years using Rsync from my RN516 to my RNDP6350 without a hitch.
Today, I noticed backup failures - "unable to connect to host". The RN516 was updated with Firmware 6.7.5 and the RNDP6350 with RAIDiator 4.2.31 today.
Could that be the issue? (Yes, I've rebooted both NAS's a few times).
Any ideas on what's going on?
Thanks,
Herb...

I back up my RN526x to my pro-6 using the same firmware versions, and that is working ok.
Are you using IP addresses or hostnames? Also, have the IP addresses changed?

StephenB:
Strangely, when I tested the connection again to the IP Address from the RBN516 to RNDP 6350, the connection was successful!
I have no idea what changed between the time I made this post and when this connected. All backups were successful.
Could this be some hidden issue with my switch or router (Netgear R6400) as it clearly is not related to the ReadyNas?
Thanks,
Herb...

Hard to say, it is possible I guess.
I suggest keeping an eye on it, and see if it recurs.
