Hi,
If I start defrag on a volume and while it is running, I try to run another maintenance task like balance or scrub: what will happen ? Doest it start the second task or it will wait for defrag to end before starting balance or scrub ?

Hello chopin70,
They are separate process, they can be enable all the same time. If you have large amount of data save on the NAS it will take a lot of resources for the NAS to run the processes and may affect the performance. We recommend to run the process one at a time.
