Ultra 2 Plus unresponsive

Hi,

I run dual nics on my ultra 2 (main interface is 192.168 and secondary is 10.net) and every few days the 192 interface is unresponsive. I can still access the readynas via the 10.net address. When accessing the frontview interface its slow, and I get script unresponsive errors as well. Once I reboot the readynas everything returns to normal. dmesg shows the below error pretty much every time the problem happens. Any help is appreciated, I am past my 90 day support (I've had the unit for about 5 months now).

# Here is msg from dmesg

Re: Ultra 2 Plus unresponsive

Bah thanks that sucks, maybe I should downgrade to 4.2.21, I keep checking for firmware updates weekly just in case ;(

Can you still open online case even though your standard 90 warr. is up?

You can do an online case, but not phone call.

Re: Ultra 2 Plus unresponsive

I finally opened an online case, I had the unit replaced which didnt help. I only run transmission and plex as addons, I read somewhere else that maybe older versions of transmission could be an issue so I disabled it for now (running 2.73.01) and also heard using 100Mb switch could be an issue as well.

NTGR support now wants me to downgrade to 4.2.19 (ive had the problem on 4.2.20, 4.2.21 and 4.2.22). I have a 1000Mb switch coming in the next week or two, so I will try that first before downgrading all the way to 4.2.19.

# This was an old thread that was for beta 4.2.20 code that has a similar issue. This is what NTGR sent me.
