Unable to boot/boot taking days

I have a ReadNAS NV+ that is taking days to boot. I don't know if it will ever boot as I get frustrated, turn it off, and try again. At the moment I'm trying a USB boot to reset the firmware. Would someone help me with this? After it boots I want to upgrade it to the newest firmware (on the USB I'm trying to boot from), and I have removed 3x1T drives and inserted 2x2T drives. I want to wipe everything and start over.

If there is no data on the unit you can use the factory default option to completely wipe the device.

You will also want to make sure the drives are on our compatibility list for your device.

I have tried factory reset, reloading the os, loading the os from usb. Nothing works. This thing is only good as a boat anchor today. This morning I have been on hold for support 27 minutes, 16 minutes, 30 minutes, and still I have talked with no one.
