Upgrade to NV+4
Hi,
I am just looking to clarify this will work!
We currently have a netgear duo running 4TB as 2Tb mirrored. We are out of space so we are looking to upgrade to the NV+4 so we can insert the two current drives we have and expand with a further two drives, but crucially WITHOUT DATA LOSS!!
Will the insertion of the two existing drives mean the NV+4 will just boot with the existing data or will it try to reformat the drives?
Any help greatly appreciated
Thanks
Dom

Re: Upgrade to NV+4
You can migrate from the Duo v1 (runs RAIDiator 4.x) to the NV+ v1.
See the Migrate link in FAQ.
Assuming you are using X-RAID you can boot with just your Duo disks installed then hot-add (add while NAS is on) the new disks one at a time.
