Visible in Explorer but not in RAIDar
I have a ReadyNAS Duo on WIndows XP running Mcafee security.
When I run RAIDar nothing is detected however I can access the NAS thru windows explorer & access Frontview via IE.
Any ideas please??

Re: Visible in Explorer but not in RAIDar
Is the DUO on the same subnet as the PC?

Re: Visible in Explorer but not in RAIDar
RAIDar normally will see it then, not sure why it isn't. It is possible the Mcafee is blocking it.

Definitely check to make sure that there are no 3rd party anti-virus or firewall applications that are blocking it. I usually recommend "pausing" or "disabling" for set amounts of time just to test. Otherwise, as long as it is on the same Layer 2 network as the machine that has RAIDar installed; there should be no problems discovering the device.
