Wake ReadyNAS When Reconnecting Mapped Drive
I want to automatically send a magic packet to wake up the ReadyNAS (if it is off) when I attempt to reconnect to a mapped drive. Is this posisble?

Re: Wake ReadyNAS When Reconnecting Mapped Drive
I don't know of any single tool that does both. But of course there are several free tools that will send WoL packets.

Re: Wake ReadyNAS When Reconnecting Mapped Drive
That depends on what you mean by "when I attempt to reconnect to a mapped drive". If you mean double-clicking on a mapped drive icon created by Windows, no. But you could write a batch file that uses a WoL command line tool and then waits an appropriate time before trying to open the mapped drive and have an icon for that instead. WakeOnLAN by Aquila Technology includes a command line tool (see https://wol.aquilatech.com/help/command-line/ ).

Thx for sharing - this looks like a very useful (and free) utility.
