drop connection iscsi

Hello

I use iSCSI on two RN314(firmware 8.6.0 and 8.6.1RC2) and Windwos 2012 with all update

Frequently i saw error in Windows:

Event 20 Connection to the target was lost. The initiator will attempt to retry the connection.

This situation is repeated on 2 PCs.

Authentication in iSCSI is not used. Wire changed not help. =(

1 iscsi target = 1 server

Re: drop connection iscsi

Hello TommyWong,

It does appear that you have 2 RN314 that is encountering ISCSI connection error. May I verify the following information below.

1. Are you getting the same exact error on from both NAS?

2. Are you also encountering problem accessing shares?

3. Does iscsi lun automatically connect to the server?

4. What provisioning is set on the lun is it thick or thin?

5. Do you still have a lot of space available on the data volume?

Please also try to disable the anti virus and any app installed and running on the NAS and check if that will make any difference.
