Antivirus scanner how to manage after upgrading to 6.6.1

Hi,

Does anyone know what the next problem is?
After upgrading to Firmware 6.6.1 I can't manage the Antivirus scanner.
Before upgrading I could change the frequences of updating the Antivirus scanner.

Does anyone have an idea?

Please be kind and share with me.
Remarks: the antivirus program is still runnig on background and the led on the main screen (Admin Page) is green!

The way to use the built in anti vrus is for me a bit blury and hard to understand too!

For me I turned it on, then the unit downloaded the app, then it updated the virus files and then it went green and a shield appeared on the unit.

For right now the only controls are "on" and "off".  

I think that's a huge problem, hopefully there will be more options soon.

I read a lot and could not find anything about it.

The programm is still running and updating, but managing or seen in my App isn't possible.

The Antivisus App is disappeared............

Correct.  It wasn't compatible with the new package, so the upgrade uninstalled it.

Your only option right now is to turn it off on the system->settings page.

I checked my NAS and seems:

RNDP400U (ReadyNAS Ultra 4 Plus) – READYNAS ULTRA 4 PLUS (DISKLESS)

Model / Version: RNDP400U

End of Life (Service Unavailable)

But the system is still in really good condition and full operational. (of course with disks)

I got this problem after the last OS update!

As you likely know by now, Netgear switched to a completely different AV package in 6.6.1.Many people are having issues, even on new OS 6 NAS.

Again, right now you can (a) leave the service running, and be prepared for some issues, or (b) turn the service off on the system->settings page.  Netgear isn't giving you any other choices right now.

It is a mess, it has to be a priority for the Netgear developers.  Hopefully there will be fixes soon (though they often will start them as beta).
