RN212 ftps issues after 6.8.0 firmware update
Hello to everybody listening.
After upgrading to 6.8.0 firmware cannot browse to directories when connecting with ftps. Used winscp and filezilla, same results with AndFtp android app. It looks like this after connecting instead of showing real file names:
The result is this:
Any suggestion appreciated.
Hi U_V
Is the NAS integrated to an AD?
Can you use leapFTP or CoreFTP to check if it still has the same issue.
You can also try to upgrade to BETA 1 6.9.3 https://community.netgear.com/t5/ReadyNAS-Beta-Release/ReadyNASOS-6-9-3-T211-Beta-1/m-p/1493242
Hope this helps!

Hello U_V,
May we ask for the complete logs of the NAS, you may use file sharing website like wikisend and just PM the download link. I may also need to check this with others who can probably assist you and get back to you as soon as possible.
Thanks for your cooperation!

That's very interesting. I was not able to reproduce on my RN524X on 6.8.0, but I didn't do an upgrade from an existing version.
What version were you on before?
In 6.8, the only thing we modified with FTP in the name is around allowing you to use a custom port in the hostname field on backup jobs, and it was failing validation, so not sure your issue was directly related to 6.8.

U_V,
I have not receive the link where I can download the logs. One of our Netgear Expert Kohdee did respond to the thread and have an inquiry I would recommend to answer the inquiry since it may give additional information on what might have cause the behavior of the NAS.
