ReadyDLNA/Sony BluRay Player/SRT/MKV
Hi there,
I've just acquired a Netgear ReadyNAS Pro 2 and today is the first day I've used it.
I've noticed when I play MKV files with SRT files in the same folder each with the exact same file name, my Sony BDP-S4100 Player does not recognize it.
Has anyone been able to get SRT files to work with MKV? I'd be really interested, thank you!

- dinziAspirantFirmware: RAIDiator 4.2.27
- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserAre you using DLNA to access the file?
Have you tried muxing the SRT into the MKV? - dinziAspirantThat's correct, I'm using DLNA from my Sony BDP-S4100 BluRay Player.
I haven't tried muxing both .SRT and .MKV together yet, but I think that might work but to save me doing this procedure every so often I was wondering if there is a solution for this. - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserDLNA is the issue. The SRT in the same folder as the MKV only applies if the BDP-S4100 is accessing a hard drive directly.
I'm not sure if muxing the SRT into the MKV will fix it, but it is worth a try. - dinziAspirantMuxing works, will just have to make that a habbit I suppose.
From what you've told me seems like not many people have luck with this so should count myself lucky that it works.
