Upgraded to 6.6.0 and am now having performance issues

After upgradiing my firmware to 6.6.0 access to my netword raid is almost unusable.  We have a pretty stable network with a small user base and have tried different forms of access to the raid via network in order to scratch off issues related to any of the work stations.

I read that there was a similiar issue when version 6.4.1 was released, but that seems to have been taken care of on version 6.5.0.

Any thoughts?

Try disabling IPv6 on the NAS.

Do you have ipv6 disabled on the NAS?

Hello @StephenB, thanks for your reply.

I went under Network -> Links, clicked on the gear and see that both ipv4 and ipv6 are active.  ipv4: using DHCP and ipv6 : Automatically/DHCP

oh man, now I did it.

It went back to slow performance, and I thought it might be a good idea to switch from ipV4 to ipV6.... and now I can't access the admin.

I've restarted the NAS and no dice.

Re: Upgraded to 6.6.0 and am now having performance issues

Just to wrap this up....

I continued having poor performance even after disabling ipv6.

All of the computers on our network are running MacOS, so I had set the acess to all my shares as AFP, however, I tried adding SMB access to all the shares and voilà... problem fixed.

I even enabled ipv6 again, and things continue to run smoothly.
