Volume: Disk test failed to start

Volume: Disk test failed to start

I have scheduled disk test to run every Tue 9am, and it had been doing so for some time.

Today, "Volume: Disk test failed to start for volume N316AR6".

NAS seems to be working, no other unusual messages.

I found lots of references here to test failures, but nothing on start failures.

??

Update.

I rescheduled it for 10am, it just started. I'd still like to know what's likely to cause a fail to start.

Hello Michael_Oz,

What's the firmware version of the NAS?

Re: Volume: Disk test failed to start

Hello Michael_Oz,

Maybe you want to try 6.7.0-T169 (Beta 2).

Re: Volume: Disk test failed to start

I had another failed to start today.

This time Scrub was running, so that is the probable cause.

I checked the logs, the OP case there was no such other job running.
