I have had this extender for quite a few years and have always been able to log into my extender account using a user name and a password.
Recently when I try to do this I just get a message saying site cannot be reached.
I have tried to access the account via wifi and by connecting extender to laptop via ethernet cable but no luck.
Extender works fine.
Any help will be greatly appreciated
Thank you

Hi Plemans
Did the reset and reinstall and after a lot of "faffing" around with setting up new account and after a good few hours, it is all working fine!
Thanks so much for your help and patience!
Have a good Christmas

Re: Can't access site
Are you using the "mywifiext . net" address or using its actual ip address that your router assigns?
I'd try using its actual ip address from the router.
What are the led's on the front of the extender showing (all of them, blinking/solid/etc)

Re: Can't access site
Hi Plemans
I was using the mywifi etc (apparently I am not allowed to type the full url address on posts?) but have now tried using the IP address for the extender as shown on connected devices on my router - still the same result. Cannot reach site.
As far as LED's are concerned - all solid green. As normal. Extender is working fine, it is just accessing my Netgear account I am having difficulty with....

Re: Can't access site
do you get to the login page when you attempt to access it or just the "page cannot display"?
Have you tried factory resetting and reinstalling the extender? (use the installation assistant if you do)

Re: Can't access site
Hi Plemans
I do not get the login page - it simply goes to "can't connect to this site"
I will ty the factory reset and reinstall tomorrow - will use the install assistant.
Hopefully this will work
Thanks
