Cannot access NETGEAR WG602 Control Panel
Hey All,
I cannot access my NETGEAR WG602 (wireless router)'s control panel. It is connected to the modem though a wired-router (Dynex DX-E402), and when I type in the IP address for the WG602 it accesses the DX-E402's control panel.
Can someone tell me how to get around this?

- jmizoguchiVirtuosoYou probably did it setup different IP
Remove the WG unit , directly connect to the PC ans uses static IP on PC and try access and fix the issues or reset and setup again - WaldoctgNoviceBut can I do this without having to unplug the wired modem?
- jmizoguchiVirtuosoNot sure I follow you here...

The problem is if I connect the Netgear wireless router directly to the ethernet cable, it will not be long enough to reach where I need it to be upstairs... with this being said, can I still have the Netgear wireless router connected to the modem through the Dynex wired router and access the cPanel of Netgear wireless router?
Here's a diagram:

- WaldoctgNoviceOK... thank you.
I realized this is my actual diagram:
[Modem] -> [Netgear WNR2000 v2 wireless router] -> [Dynex wired router] -> [Netgear WG602 wireless router]
I need to have the Dynex to extend the length of the ethernet cabel to the WG602 router. Now, when I set up the WG602 as an access point, will it still work even though it is connected to the WNR2000 router (the main router) through the Dynex wired router? If not, what will I have to do to work around this?
Thanks! - jmizoguchiVirtuoso

WG602 access point NOT router
You have two router back to back. setup dynes as dummy switch

setup same way and disregard any wifi setup on 2nd unit which is dynes for you.. Basic concept is same - WaldoctgNoviceHmm...
I tried this, but no dice.
I set the Dynex router to no DHCP, and the IP to 192.168.1.100... The problem I run into is when I try to access the Netgear WG602 access point.
I used this pdf to try to set it up, but it wasn't connecting... I even plugged directly into the access point. Is there a reason why?

If you have directly connected the the WG602 with same lan subnet range on PC with static IP you should able to access the GUI. - WaldoctgNoviceOK. I'm on Mac and it says that the IP Address is different than the one on the WG602 manual (the one on the manual is 192.168.0.227. I don't know if I should put the IP Address that it says to use or not on here for fear of security issues...
